Cinema
The Cinema Committee selects and screens all of the current movies out there. From movies that aren\'t yet on DVD to the classics, committee members help to decide and screen these movies and fun events. Tons of movie merchandise and promotional items are just a bonus!
Concerts
The Concerts Committee single-handedly brings music to the UCF Campus, arranging for local and national acts to perform for the Student Body. Members get hands-on experience in hiring, managing, and putting on an unforgettable concert experience.
Culture & Fine Arts
The Culture and Fine Arts Committee brings diverse, contemporary perspectives and experiences to students. From instrumental concerts to salsa dancing, there are many different visual art opportunities that appeal to any culture.
Promotions
Do you have a knack for spreading the word? Or simply have an interest in the marketing world? Then this is the committee for you! The CAB Promotions Committee deals with promoting CAB's image in ways that harness students' attention.
Comedy
The Comedy Committee programs a variety of events ranging from headlining comedians--Dane Cook, Lewis Black, and Stephen Lynch, to name a few--to monthly comedy events, such as open mic nights. Members help select potential acts and assist in planning, PR, and production of the shows.
Special Events
The Special Events Committee brings unique activities to the campus. Past events have included: the Haunted Arboretum, Mystery Dinner Theater, College Bowl, Sports Illustrated Campus Fest, and so much more! Members select events, coordinate, and staff the activities.
Speakers
The Speakers Committee organizes visiting guest lectures, debates, and seminars. Students choose interesting topics and well-known speakers, work with the agents, and arrange guest travel and hospitality.
Spectacular Knights
The Spectacular Knights committee spotlights our students\' talent with the production of two major events--the Mr. UCF and Miss UCF Scholarship Pageants. Members select the participants, plan the shows, raise scholarship funds, coordinate the production, and secure prizes.
Video Production
CAB Video Production tapes, edits, and produces videos for a variety of CAB\'s events. Join this committee if you are into vido production and technologically savvy!
